What are all of the features/amenities offered in a court built by Sports King?
We offer a variety of options when it comes to the design, needs and wants for your court. We offer acrylic hardcourt surfacing as well as cushion surfacing. Modular tiles are also available. Other options include fencing, lighting, landscaping and goal or net installation.
What are the differences between modular tiles and acrylic courts?
Tiles are extremely durable and are resistant to activities on the court other than their intended sport; e.g. bicycles, power wheels, etc. They are designed to stand the test of time through elements as well. This makes them a popular choice for families with young kids.
Ball response is very fast and true on acrylic hardcourts making them popular among many players, specifically professional and higher level amateur racquet sports players. The textured surface also provides excellent traction for fast responses to the ball.
What is the recommended timeframe for a court to be resurfaced?
The premium products we use by Sportmaster and California Sports Systems, are both engineered to last 6-7 years in full sun. In higher traffic, municipal or school settings, resurfacing may be required sooner.
Do you offer a warranty?
We do offer a 1-year workmanship and materials warranty if we construct your court. Concrete, even in a post-tension design, will eventually crack, especially in Texas!
